Last March, the Bombeiros Voluntários de Alcanede (Volunteer Firefighters) celebrated their 25th anniversary, and Moca Stone was one of the companies that contributed to enhance this ceremony, donating a beautiful stone (worth more than € 25,000) and the detailed work of laying the same in the new noble hall of this Humanitarian Association.
This news is only now communicated by our company due to the turbulent period spent by all of our society and people from all over the world in recent months, and which still plagues more or less intensely in several countries. Moca Stone won business and maintains professional and friendly relations in many of these countries and regions, and we cannot fail to address yet another felt message of strength and solidarity.
Having been one of the last ceremonies allowed before confinement due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the event had the deserved pomp and circumstance (link to the Association’s facebook page). In this event full of celebration, there were also symbolic acts including the blessing of 4 vehicles by Mr. Padre António Vicente.
The President of the Humanitarian Association of the Voluntary Firefighters of Alcanede (AHBVA), Nélson Durão, made a point of thanking the countless contributions of companies and other institutions, with special thanks to Moca Stone and its manager Luciano Santos. At the article reported by Portal de Alcanede, Nélson Durão highlights the offer “of all stone for the floor and its settlement”, with more than 25.000€ in net value.
At the same ceremony, and thanks to several personalities linked to the Fire Department and the work that this institution has developed in recent decades, Luciano Santos also has the opportunity to explain why Moca Stone wants to contribute to this humanitarian mission in Alcanede. See the video (in Portuguese), below:
Through the social network Facebook, Luciano Santos had the opportunity to reaffirm all the enthusiasm and honor of Moca Stone in the opportunity to contribute to this event. We transcribe his words:
“Congratulations to the Firemen of Alcanede !!
It was with great satisfaction and pride that Moca Stone S.A., helped to complete the work of the Salão Nobre that today allows the Firemen of Alcanede to have a multifunctional room at their disposal and receive anyone with great refinement and comfort.
When it is done with taste and professionalism the result can only be this, congratulations to all who participated in this project, and could make it a reality.
Congratulations to Manuel Ramos for his beautiful career at this institution.
We will be attentive and supporting causes of this nature while maintaining our active social commitment with moderation and responsibility.
Let another 25 years come !!! “
The final result, as can be seen below, is beautiful at the level of what Moca Stone knew to be deserved by the Alcanede Firefighters Association.
